- 4 to 5 apples (medium)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 stick pure butter
- 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 heaping Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Mix sugar and flour together in medium saucepan.

2Blend with 2 cups of water.

3Cook slowly until boils, stirring constantly.

4Add butter to boiling water mixture.

5Add diced apples.

6Cook until very soft.

7Add flavorings and spices.

8Pour ingredients into unbaked pie shell; cover with unbaked pie shell, sealing edges with fork and making small slits in the top pie shell.

9Bake at 350° for 60 minutes, until crusts (bottom and top) are golden brown.
