- 4 c. peeled, sliced apples
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.

2Add apples, butter and flavoring mix well.

3Pour into an unbaked pie crust.

4Sprinkle nutmeg over mixture, trim excess crust, fold edges under and crimp. Put small slits in top crust.

5Bake 60 minutes in 350° oven.
