- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 c. blueberries
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
- whipped cream (optional)
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.

2Add water and 2 cups of blueberries.

3Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and clear (mixture will be quite thick).

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in butter and lemon juice. Cool.

6Place remaining 2 cups raw blueberries in pie shell.

7Top with cooked berry mixture.

8Chill.

9Serve garnished with whipped cream.
