  • Blend 2 cups sifted powdered sugar with 1/3 cup milk and 1 teaspoon pure vanilla. Stir until smooth. Dip warm doughnuts into glaze. Drain on wax paper to catch icing. You can re-use what drips off.
  • Spicy Glaze: Follow above recipe, omitting vanilla. Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
  • Orange Glaze: Follow above recipe, omitting vanilla. Substitute orange juice for milk.
