- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- oil
Directions

1Heat oil to 375°.

2Mix flour, sugar, milk, vanilla and spices until well blended.

3Turn dough onto floured surface and knead about 10 minutes.

4Roll out to about 3/8-inch thick.

5Cut with a floured doughnut cutter.

6Drop into hot oil and fry until brown on both sides.

7Remove and drain.

8To coat, drop one at a time in a small paper bag containing powdered sugar and shake.
