- 2 lb. raw gluten
- 1/3 c. nutritional yeast
- 1 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/2 c. peanut butter or tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 2 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1/2 c. hot oil
Directions

1In a large bowl, add peanut butter, yeast, garlic powder and paprika to raw gluten.

2Mix well by pulling and stretching.

3Saute onions in oil.

4Add onions and hot oil to seasoned gluten.

5(Hot oil breaks the gluten down and helps seasonings to penetrate.) Continue to mix gluten well by pulling and stretching until consistency is stringy, but doesn't tear apart.

6Pull off small pieces of gluten and stretch and twist pieces into shapes similar to 6 to 8-inch bread sticks.
