Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 envelope yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water

Directions

    Scald milk.

    Let cool to lukewarm.

    Add sugar and shortening, softened yeast and flour.

    Beat until smooth.

    Let rise until size is doubled.

    Roll out and make into rolls.

    Spread with melted butter or oleo and fold over.
  8. 8
    Grease pan and top of rolls with oleo.

    Let rise and bake at 450° for 8 minutes or until brown.
