Dried Apple Stack Cake

   Preheat oven to 350°.

   Mix together molasses, sugar, sweet milk, eggs and melted shortening.

   Add enough self-rising flour to make a stiff dough.

   Pour onto floured board and knead.

   Put a small piece of dough in bottom of round cake pan.

   Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

   Makes 5 to 7 layers.
