  • 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. dry beef, cut up
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3 c. diced, peeled potatoes
  • 2 1/2 c. frzn corn
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. flour

    In 4 qt Dutch oven over medium high heat, saute/fry dry beef and onions in melted butter 3 min.

    Add in potatoes and next 6 ingredients.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat.

    Cover and simmer 12 min, or possibly till potatoes are tender.

    Add in 3 c. lowfat milk.

    In jar shake remaining 1 c. lowfat milk with flour till smooth.

    Stir into soup, cook, stirring constantly till mix thickens and simmer.
