- 1 lb mixed dried fruit (I like a mixture of prunes, apricots, peaches, apples and pears)
- 14 cup candied ginger, chopped
- 1 cup marsala
- 14 cup lemon juice
- 12 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup water
Directions

1Place the dried fruit, ginger, Marsala, lemon juice, maple syrup and water in a saucepan.

2Bring to a boil.

3Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the fruit is tender.

4Serve warm or cold.
