- 1/4 lb. butter
- 8 skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 tsp. tarragon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. onion, minced
- 1 c. white vermouth
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet.

2Add salt, pepper, tarragon, onion and garlic.

3Brown the chicken.

4Add the vermouth.

5Cover and simmer for one hour.

6Add mushrooms during the cooking.

7After 1 hour, remove chicken.

8Bring liquid to a boil to reduce it.

9Add sour cream and mix well.

10If separation occurs, add 1 or 2 tablespoons water.

11Put chicken on a platter and cover with sour cream gravy. Everybody loves this dish!
