- 6 cups Plain, Natural Almonds
- 1/2 cups Water
- 2 Tablespoons Salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250F.

2Place almonds in a large mixing bowl.

3Bring water to boil with salt in a 2 cup measuring cup heat it in the microwave until its boiling (may take 1-2 minutes).

4Stir to make sure salt is dissolved.

5Pour boiling mixture over almonds.

6Stir to coat.
-
7Lift almonds out of the bowl and onto a shallow pan.

8(I use a 12x16 rimmed baking sheet.)

9Roast in the preheated oven, stirring every 20 minutes until roasted.

10This can take anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

11Toward the end, taste to check the color and flavor of the nuts.

12Store in an airtight container once cooled.
