- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 c. sifted flour
Directions

1In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in water.

2Add sugar, salt, egg and butter.

3Mix in flour; knead for about 5 minutes. Let dough rise for 2 hours, or until doubled.

4Punch down risen dough and roll out to 1/4-inch thick.

5Then cut the dough into strips.

6Melt additional butter and dip each strip.

7In a Bundt pan, layer the strips.

8Cover and let rise again.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
