  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. water

    Lightly grease an 8 x 13-inch baking dish and spread apple pie filling on bottom.

    Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons water.

    Layer in the following order:

    coconut, cake mix and pecans.

    Slice 2 sticks margarine over this and bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes. Can be served warm with whipped cream or cooled.
