  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
  • 1 c. or more chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
  • whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

Directions

    Spread pineapple in bottom of large Pyrex or other baking dish. Spread coconut over pineapple.

    Spread cake mix over coconut. Spread nuts over cake mix.* Chip butter or oleo over the top. Place in 350° oven (more or less, depending on your oven) and cook 45 minutes.

    Cook and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
