  • 1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag coconut
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 lb. butter or oleo

Directions

    Grease 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Dump pineapple with juice into pan; spread evenly over bottom. Pour coconut over fruit; spread dry cake mix over pineapple. Spread entire surface with thin slices of butter. Do not mix. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Top should be lightly brown.
