- 2 cups butter or 2 cups margarine, melted
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups raisins or 1 1/2 cups dates
- 1 cup nuts or 1 cup shredded coconut
Directions

1Blend together butter and sugar.

2Stir in eggs and vanilla.

3Mix in cornflakes and oatmeal.

4Sift together flour, soda and baking powder and add to first mixture.

5Add raisins or dates and coconut or nuts.

6Place far apart as they will spread.

7Bake at 350 12-15 minutes.
