  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 apples, pared and sliced
  • cinnamon

    Cream butter with 7/8 cup of sugar.

    Add well beaten egg, then the milk and vanilla.

    Mix the dry ingredients together and add alternately to the milk mixture, beating thoroughly.
