- 1 pie shell
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. heavy cream or sour cream
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- cooking apples
Directions

1Line pie tin with pastry.

2Fill with finely diced cooking apples.

3Mix together flour, cloves, sugar and cream.

4Mix well and pour over apples.

5Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over all.

6Bake in hot oven 10 minutes at 400° to 450°.

7Reduce heat . Bake until top is brown and apples are tender.
