  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

    Cream butter/margarine. Add sugar and cinnamon; beat well. Add egg yolk; beat well. Sift and add flour. Mix well. Press dough evenly unto greased cookie sheets or 12

    x 15-inch pan. Brush with slightly beaten egg white. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and pecans. Bake 30-35 minutes at 300°. Cut into squares while warm.
