- 3 Tbsp. fat or salad oil
- 1 lb. chuck, ground
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 (12 oz.) can vacuum packed whole kernel corn
- 1 (3 or 4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
- 1/2 lb. medium noodles
- 1/4 lb. natural Cheddar cheese, grated (1 c.)
- 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can tomatoes (3 1/2 c.)
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In hot fat in Dutch oven, cook chuck, stirring about 10 minutes.

2Stir in salt.

3Add black pepper, onions, green pepper, whole kernel corn and mushrooms.

4Top with uncooked noodles; sprinkle with 1 cup grated cheese.

5Pour tomatoes over all. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour.

6Serve with grated Parmesan.
