  • 8 doves
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped parsley
  • 1/8 tsp. thyme
  • 1/8 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 (4 oz.) can button mushrooms (undrained)
  • 1 c. white wine

Directions

    Salt and pepper birds to taste.

    Make a paste of flour and butter and rub each bird with paste.

    Place birds in baking dish and place a strip of bacon across each bird.

    Bake in slow oven (300° to 325°) for about 1 hour.
