- 1 egg and 1 Tbsp. vinegar, mixed
Directions

1Blend shortening into flour until pea size.

2Mix the egg and vinegar well.

3Add cold water and blend into flour mixture.

4Knead on a floured surface.

5Makes 6 pies; 3 double crust pies.
