  • yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 (No. 303) can apricots (drain juice and save 1/2 c.), mashed
  • 1/2 c. apricot juice
  • 1 small box apricot jello
  • 1 (5 oz.) can Carnation evaporated milk
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. stick margarine (1/2 stick)
  • 1 capful vanilla

    Melt margarine; add sugar and evaporated milk.

    Bring to a boil.

    Boil 5 minutes more, stirring continuously.

    Add 1 capful vanilla.

    Pour over cake.

    Sprinkle fresh coconut and place a few jelly beans on each piece of cake.
