- 2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1 Tbsp. orange juice
- Decorating Frosting
Directions

1Sift together flour, baking powder and salt onto wax paper. Beat together the butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in the egg, orange rind and juice.

2Add the flour mixture, a third at a time.

3Shape dough into a ball; flatten slightly.

4Wrap in plastic wrap.

5Refrigerate several hours.

6Roll out on a lightly floured surface about 1/8-inch thick.

7Cut into bunny or chick with 3-inch cutters.

8Repeat with second half of dough.

9Bake at 350° for 7 to 8 minutes.

10Cool and frost.
