- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. boneless chuck roast
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. red wine
- mushrooms (canned or sauteed fresh)
Directions

1Cut beef into 1-inch cubes.

2Use heavy casserole or Dutch oven.

3Add all ingredients except mushrooms.

4Stir slightly to mix.

5Cover and bake at 325° for 3 hours.

6Add mushrooms about an hour before serving.

7Serve with rice or noodles.
