  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. boneless chuck roast
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. red wine
  • mushrooms (canned or sauteed fresh)

Directions

    Cut beef into 1-inch cubes.

    Use heavy casserole or Dutch oven.

    Add all ingredients except mushrooms.

    Stir slightly to mix.

    Cover and bake at 325° for 3 hours.

    Add mushrooms about an hour before serving.

    Serve with rice or noodles.
