  • 2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, cut diagonally
  • 6 carrots, cut in chunks
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca (to thicken)
  • 1/2 c. tomato juice

    Place meat in 7 x 11-inch pan.

    Add vegetables.

    Blend salt, sugar and tapioca.

    Sprinkle over meat and vegetables.
