  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 12 ounces beer at room temp., non alcoholic does not work
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

    Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl.

    Gradually add beer stirring until just moistened; spoon into a greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.

    Brush top with butter.

    Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove and cool completely on wire rack.
