Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (15 ounce) cansunseasoned black beans (I prefer Goya)
- 12 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon ground oregano
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 cup white wine
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
Directions

1Put olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

2Add onions and green peppers and saute until onions are translucent.

3Add minced garlic and saute for several more minutes.

4Add beans, oregano, cumin, salt and white wine.

5Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.

6Simmer for about 2 hours.

7Just before serving stir in sugar and vinegar.
