  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • 1 qt. milk, scalded
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Beat yolks, sugar and flour.

    Add 1 cup of the hot milk and mix well.

    Add the remaining milk and stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.

    Refrigerate.

    Serves 6 to 8.
