Ingredients

  • 1 lb. roll sausage
  • 8 eggs
  • 10 c. cubed bread (Italian)
  • 3 c. milk
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can or 10 oz. frozen asparagus, drained and thawed
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo or butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    In large skillet, brown sausage; drain.

    In large bowl, beat eggs.

    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.

    Spoon into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Cover; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350°.

    Bake for 60 to 70 minutes.
