  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Directions

    Melt oleo (in big pot).

    Pour in cake mix.

    Mix 1 egg, beaten. Mix well.

    Add nuts and pour in a 9 x 13-inch pan, greased lightly. Press out.

    Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs (beaten) and sugar with mixer. Pour on top of crust.

    Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes, not too long.

    Toothpick will not come out clean.

    Refrigerate, then cut in squares when cool.
