  • 1/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

    Cut margarine into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Drop by tablespoon fulls 2 inches apart onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.
