- 10 slices bread, trimmed and each cut into 4 pieces
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
- 2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 stick margarine
Directions

1Melt butter and dip bread into it.

2Put into baking dish. Layer cheese and bread squares alternately.

3Beat eggs.

4Add milk and beat again.

5Pour over bread and cheese.

6Let stand for several hours or overnight.

7Bake in slow oven, 325°, for 45 minutes to an hour.

8Serve at once.
