  • 6 or 8 skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb. peeled carrots, cut up
  • 1 green pepper, cut up
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 6 or 8 potatoes
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix (dry)
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Place chicken in the bottom of a very large baking dish. Sprinkle chicken with soup mix.

    Place all the other ingredients in dish.

    Pour water over.

    Bake, loosely covered, for 3 or 4 hours at 325°.

    Check chicken after 3 hours to see if done.
