Ingredients

  • 1 onion (purple), chopped
  • 1/2 lb. lean hamburger (optional) or 1/4 lb. hamburger and 14 oz. block tofu (firm, pressed)
  • 2 c. kidney beans
  • 2 c. pinto beans
  • 1 c. salsa
  • 1 c. stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • chili powder to taste
  • Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • jalapeno peppers
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. coriander

Directions

    Saute onion. Brown hamburger. Mix all ingredients together. Season to taste. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
