- 2 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (5 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 (1 lb.) cans stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (1 lb.) can baked pea beans (small), rinsed to remove sauce
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
Directions

1Melt bacon fat in frying pan and add beef, salt, pepper and onion.

2Cook about 5 minutes or until beef is well browned.

3Add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, pea beans and chili powder.

4Simmer until mixture reaches desired thickness.
