  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (for different flavor)

Directions

    Melt margarine and shortening in water with cocoa and bring to a boil.

    Pour over flour mixed with sugar.

    Mix well and add remaining ingredients.

    Mix. Will make very thin batter.

    Bake at 400° in long pan for 25 minutes.

    Start frosting 5 minutes before cake is done.
