  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 1/4 oz. vinegar
  • 2 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 1/2 c. water (cold)

Directions

  1. 1
    Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt into mixer bowl. Add oil, vinegar and vanilla to dry ingredients while mixing at low speed. Pour water over all ingredients in bowl. Mix at low speed until all ingredients are blended. Pour into greased pan and bake.
