Easy Cinnamon Rolls

- 1/2 c. shortening
- 5 c. self-rising flour, sifted
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- cinnamon-sugar mix
Directions

1Cut shortening into flour and sugar.

2Dissolve yeast in water and mix into flour.

3Stir.

4Place in greased bowl for 1 hour. Knead well on lightly floured surface.

5Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.

6Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

7Roll up and cut crosswise into 1/2-inch rolls.

8Cover; let set overnight at room temperature.

9Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.

10Frost.
