Easy Cold Oven Popovers

- 3 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Generously grease a muffin tin or Pyrex cups.

2Set in cold part of refrigerator while preparing batter.

3Break eggs into bowl; add milk, flour and salt.

4Mix well with wire whisk or spoon, disregarding the lumps.

5Fill cold greased cups until 3/4 full. Pyrex cups about 1/2 full.

6Put in cold oven; set the controls at 450° now, not until turn on oven heat.

7Bake about 30 to 35 minutes.

8Do not peek.

9The secret is starting with a cold oven. The popovers should be eaten immediately but if you must hold them, pierce each one.
