- 2 c. sugar
- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 lb. green candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. white raisins
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple (mixed colors)
- 2 c. pecans or walnuts
Directions

1Save 1 cup of the flour to dust the fruit.

2Cream the butter or margarine and sugar.

3Add 1 teaspoon lemon.

4Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

5Add flour gradually, then the fruit and nuts. Pour into cake or bread pans, well-greased.

6Bake at 300° for 2 hours.
