  • 4 cups Fruit, Either Rhubarb And Blackberries Or Just Peaches
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Water

  • 1/2 cups Melted Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare the fruit mixture. Pour sugar and water over fruit and stir. Pour fruit mixture evenly into a 9x9 baking dish and set aside.

    For the batter, whisk together melted butter, sugar, flour, milk and baking powder. Pour batter evenly over the fruit mixture.

    Bake in a 350-degree oven for 1 hour. Serve cobbler warm with vanilla ice cream, or with milk and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
