- 1/2 stick oleo/margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 (No. 2) can fruit
Directions

1Melt margarine in casserole in oven or microwave.

2Measure and mix lightly sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.

3Pour over melted margarine, then pour fruit with juice over all.

4Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

5(To make it even easier, use self-rising flour and omit baking powder and salt.

6If using peaches, add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg to dry ingredients.)
