Easy Fruit Cobbler

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 level tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 large can fruit (any fruit with juice)

Directions

    Melt margarine in deep baking dish.

    Pour in fruit.

    (If peaches, add 1 teaspoon almond flavoring).

    In a small bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Add milk.

    Stir well.

    Pour batter, which will be thin, over top of fruit.

    Do not stir!!

    Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes or until brown.
