Easy Garlic Rolls(Makes About 40 Tiny Rolls)

  • 2 cans country-style biscuits
  • 4 to 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • about 1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 loaf day old white bread (open pkg. and allow bread to dry more overnight)
  • 1/2 lb. oleomargarine, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 to 5 tsp. cinnamon, powdered

    Mix sugar and cinnamon powder together.

    Starting with 4 slices at a time, spread margarine evenly and smoothly on both sides.

    Cut each slice into 4 or 5 pieces lengthwise.

    Remove side crust only. Dip each piece into sugar and cinnamon mixture until well coated. Arrange in one layer on a cookie sheet.

    Bake in a slow oven at 170° for at least 1 hour.

    Turn over one time.

    Shut off oven. Leave the little toast in until dried and crisp (similar to Melba toast).
