Easy Hot Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 4 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Melt yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.

2Pour boiling water over salt, sugar and shortening; let cool.

3Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

4Add flour a little at a time.

5(Sometimes I use a little less than 4 cups.)

6Let rise until double in bulk.

7Punch down and roll out into small balls.

8Let rise and bake at 400° until brown. Can be refrigerated for a few days before baking.
