- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (15 oz.) cans marinara sauce or 1 (32 oz.) jar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 12 oz. Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, sliced or grated
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. Ricotta cheese or small curd cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef and drain.

2Add water, marinara sauce and salt; bring to a boil.

3In 2-quart (11 x 7-inch) baking dish, layer hot sauce, uncooked noodles, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with sauce.

4Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375° for 1 hour.

5Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
