Easy Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans marinara sauce or 1 (32 oz.) jar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 12 oz. Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, sliced or grated
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Ricotta cheese or small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

    Brown ground beef and drain.

    Add water, marinara sauce and salt; bring to a boil.

    In 2-quart (11 x 7-inch) baking dish, layer hot sauce, uncooked noodles, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with sauce.

    Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375° for 1 hour.

    Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
