Easy Lemon Chess Pie

  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 4 eggs (large)
  • 1/3 c. oleo, melted
  • 1/4 c. Pet milk
  • 1 pie shell

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring well. Add oleo, milk and lemon juice; mix well.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after addition.

    Pour filling into 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cool and chill before serving.
