Easy Lemon Chicken

  • 1 whole chicken
  • Lemon juice
  • Oregano, garlic powder,
  • your choice of spices

    Cut chicken through the back so it lays flat in a 13x9x2-inch casserole dish.

    Pour lemon juice over chicken; juice should be at least 1/4-inch high around the chicken.

    (I put all I can, as long as it does not overflow.)

    Add spices on top of chicken.

    Bake uncovered at 350F for 1 hour.

    Remove; cover.

    Bake for 1 more hour.

    Pour juices over chicken when serving.
